Something New

Something to share that I received.........We all have sung this song as a small child and even as an adult. Here is a new version just for us who have white hair, or no hair, but at any age.

JESUS LOVES ME

Jesus loves me, this I know.
Though my hair is white as snow.
Though my sight is growing dim,
Still he bids me thrust in Him.

(Chorus)
YES JESUS LOVE ME..YES, JESUS LOVES ME..
YES, JESUS LOVES ME FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.

Though my steps are oh, so slow,
With my hand in His I'll go.
On through life, let come what may,
He'll be there to lead the way.

(CHORUS)

Though I am no longer young,
I have much which He's begun,
Let me serve Christ with a smile,
Go with others the extra mile.

(CHORUS)

When the nights are dark and long,
In my Heart He puts a song.
Telling me in words so clear,
"Have no fear, for I am near."

(CHORUS)

When my work on earth is done,
And life's victories have been won.
He will take me home above,
Then I'll understand His love

(CHORUS)

I love Jesus, does he know?
Have I ever told Him so?
Jesus loves to hear me say,
That I love Him every day

(CHORUS)

Well what do you think of this version? I especially like the last verse.....

Not Just Another Birthday

Can't believe that my "blog" has been read! One of the main reasons that i started this, was because of a gift that was received on my birthday. I received a new CPU from my son, so now i'm able to keep up with technology........well a little away. Thanks my "sun". As I stated earlier, i experienced another birthday. This day hit me differently than previous birthdays. In the past I had come to just ignore them, but this one I couldn't. It wasn't really a milestone number that was affecting me, but another thought came to mind and it was making me sad. This would be my first birthday without either of my parents living. It just seemed so strange to be having a birthday without those that gave me life gone. Not real sure why this was so sad for me, but it was. Maybe the fact that my Dad's death has been just a few short weeks ago, sure did miss his phone call to wish me a Happy Birthday. I did have a good day with my two wonderful kids, and daughter-in-law, my beautiful grandboys, and friend (no not boyfriend, Bit!)). It was so great to hear Connor sing Happy Birthday and help me blow out the one special candle! Thank-you my family and friends for making me smile on my birthday.

Finally

Well this is my first post, and I really have nothing to say, accept hello to all who want to read.
